PR and Writing Samples
- Amanda managed the relationship with Kasasa's external content agency for the B2C blog. The posts you'll find here were ghost written for Amanda, which she then edited and published via WordPress.
- This press release was sent out to media contacts and released via Business Wire to relevant AEC industry publications, informing them of Bury's rebrand. More about Bury's rebrand and the associated PR campaign can be found in the portfolio link above.
Project Management:
Amanda ran daily stand-up meetings with the Kasasa B2B creative team, setting priorities and ensuring deadlines were met. Below are examples of B2B creative output she managed, including a snapshotof the JIRA boards she maintained.
Digital Content:
- Guest blog for HomeAway, "Tools and Apps for Overseas Travel"
- Bury E-Newsletter (blog and content creation, design of emailer in Constant Contact template)
- Created social media channels for Profiles International (2008) and wrote the company's social media policy
- As a marketing intern at Texas Monthly, Amanda updated the Promotions page of the magazine's website using basic HTML.
- Mr. Rooter is a franchise company of The Dwyer Group. Press releases such as these were written and dispersed to franchise owners nationwide (if applicable) to be customized for their specific markets, with the key message already approved by the corporate PR team: VP Release and Start-Up Release
- While working at American Football Coaches Association, Amanda wrote and edited several articles for the their publications, including the AFCA Directory, Summer Manual, Proceedings Manual, Technical Manual, Media Guide and The Extra Point. These articles often came with the opportunity to interview coaches from across the country. Good Works Team and X's and O's with The Legends.

Branding and Events:
- Member of marketing team that led an award-winning corporate rebrand effort – winner in two categories (national) and one category (regional) for the 2014 SMPS Marketing Communications Awards
- Led PR campaign to communicate rebrand to clients and the media; see client postcard and Bury rebrand press release
- Designed internal emailer to employees with link to participate in a post-rebrand survey
- Rebrand launch party (coordination of flash mob entertainment, ordering promotional items with the new logo, photographer and videographer vendor relations, coordination of repainting survey vehicles, live social media updates with the hashtag #HelloBury)
- Bury Exclusive VIP Reception at the 2015 Texas Society of Architects Conference & Design Expo – managed the Bury social media channels using the hashtag #BuryTxA; using the Zoomph platform, Amanda curated content for a live social media feed at the event; also handled guest list and check-in via the Zkipster app
